Dizzi Geetha is een Queer POC artiest uit Sri Lanka, woonachtig in Nederland. In Nederland is Dizzi uitgegroeid tot componist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ en theatermaker. De liefde voor natuur en natuurgeluiden speelt een grote rol in Dizzi's werk, wat ook terug te horen is in de unieke composities. Dizzi gebruikt muziek ook voor soudhealingrituelen en plantmedicijnceremonies, waarmee ze mensen helpt dieper in hun onderbewustzijn te duiken

Dizzi Geetha is a Queer POC artist from Sri Lanka, living in the Netherlands. "Once they took me out of the jungle, but you can never take the jungle out of me." In the Netherlands, Dizzi has thrived as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. Their love for nature and its sounds is a big part of their music, and you can hear it in their unique compositions and track choices. Dizzi also uses their music for sound healing rituals and plant medicine ceremonies, helping people dive deeper into their unconscious.
Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis (Metamorfose) is een biologisch proces waarbij een dier na de geboorte of het uitkomen flink verandert. Dit gaat vaak gepaard met een opvallende en soms plotselinge verandering in de lichaamsstructuur door celdeling en groei. Dit idee van transformatie en grote verandering is een krachtige metafoor voor de diepgaande veranderingen die bij adoptie komen kijken. Deze voorstelling duikt diep in de vaak onzichtbare kant van adoptie, een onderwerp dat te lang verkeerd begrepen en geromantiseerd is.
Stel je een transformatie voor die zo ingrijpend is dat het je hele identiteit en gevoel van verbondenheid hervormt.
